Membership Requirements
All Crossway members are required to attest to the Statement of Beliefs and Membership Agreement as outlined below and in Member Guidelines.
All members are required to agree to our Statement of Shared Beliefs and Ethical Values.
Statement of Shared Beliefs and Ethical Values
Ethical Standards and Compassion: We uphold values of Bible’s teaching to “love your neighbors as yourself” regardless of race, religion, or creed, and support those in need, fostering a compassionate and united community.
Health Stewardship and Moral Obligation: We commit to maintaining healthy lifestyle, intentionally incorporating exercise and good nutrition. Crossway members have a moral obligation to maintain health so as not to place unnecessary burdens to other fellow members who share in their health care costs.
Virtue of Temperance and Avoidance of Harmful Substances: We commit to avoid every kind of excess including, but not limited to the abuse of food, alcohol, tobacco, marijuana, over the counter or prescription drugs. Abstain from the use of harmful substances or illegal drugs, understanding that our well-being strengthens the community for our choices and their impact on the community.
Sensibility and Responsibility: We believe in good stewardship to be sensible and responsible in medical spending in order not to burden other members.
Supportive Community: We believe in helping each other to lessen the burdens by sharing medical expenses together, offer prayers for healing, and share resources to support the wellness of all members.
All members will be charged $25 initial set-up fee and annual membership renewal fee.
